GIVEAWAY: Seagreens from GAPS Diet Store
When I first learned that I had low thyroid functioning I started researching all possible causes and food-related treatments. One treatment that kept coming up was sea vegetables. The minerals found in seaweed, along with amino acids, combine to make a super nutrient dense way to take in iodine, zinc, and much more.
It is my understanding that the tribes studied by Dr. Weston A Price went to great lengths to obtain anything from the sea – be it animal or vegetable – because they knew of their nutrient density.
Which is why I am excited about today’s giveaway. It can be difficult to incorporate seaweed into meals.
"What’s for dinner, honey?"
"Baked fish and seaweed salad." I don’t think that would fly in our house. My husband is aware of the health benefits of seaweed, though, and prefers to eat it without mentioning of the words "seaweed." Which is where this product comes in.
"We harvest three closely related species of brown wild shallow water wrack seaweed. These distinct varieties are more nutrient dense and balanced than any other species. Only fresh, living wild plants are harvested, cleaned, air-dried and immediately cracked, milled, micronised or puréed to produce a range of convenient, digestible forms. Nothing is extracted or added."
Today the GAPS Diet store is giving away your choice of one of these seagreens products:
- Seagreens (60 ct) – Capsules of 100% wild harvested seaweed.
- Seagreens Iodine +– Capsules of 100% wild harvested seaweed, specially selected for higher iodine content.
- Seagreens Classic Culinary – 100% wild harvested seaweed, in loose form to add to your meals, sneaky-chef style.

I’ve been subscribing via the RSS My Yahoo feed.
I’m going to look into their Bio-Kult capsules, since I’ve been thinking about starting a broad-spectrum probiotic for a while now. (And I would give anything for an Excalibur dehydrator, but that’s way outside the budget!)
I’ve been subscribed by RSS for a while now.
I already subscribe to your blog. I would like the Gaps diet book.
The Bio-Kult Probiotic sounds interesting and so do thier books. They have been on my wish list.
I like the bio kult probiotics – I currently use them and they are great! I would also like to try their digestive enzymes…
I am already a subscriber—-I would like to win the seagreens for my husband who has a hypothyroid condition. The Doc took him off his natural thyroid medication and we have to get a new doc to take him off that synthetic and get him back to natural armour thyroid again.
3 Things I found most useful on GAPS website:

I’m subscribed to your RSS feed. Thanks for the giveaway!
One or more item?? How about all of them. The dehydrator would be excellent, I’ve been wanting one for a while. Butter oil, cod liver oil, all those wonderful supplements to boost immunity as we go into the dreaded flu season. I could go nuts in that store. I’ve been a subscriber of your RSS feed for quite some time and appreciate all the wonderful information you share!
I’ve been a subscriber to your awesome website for awhile
We’d love to check out the gut and phsychology book, the fermented cod liver oil, and the seagreens!!!
I would love the GAPS guide. There are several friends that I would like to introduce to the GAPS diet, but they need a general overview, not the whole shabang at once. (Plus, I’m more than reticent to part with my GAPS original book!)
Hooked up your blog to my RSS feeder!
I’m late but hopefully not too late. I signed up for your blog via email, though I visit every time you update! I’m a GAPS girl and have visited the GAPS store several times. I wish they would have more coupons/discounts as all the GAP supplements are very pricey. I have purchased BioKult there, though I don’t do very well with it. I am recovering from adrenal crash and my thyroids are still very slow. I would LOVE to try Seagreens Iodine. I’ve always wanted to see if I would do better with this than the iodine pills I’m already taking. Thanks for doing this!
I would like to read the GAPS book, try fermented cod liver oil and have my husband take Seagreens Iodine+ for his hypothyroid condition.
I have been a subscriber via email for a while now. I really appreciate the effort you put into sharing information, resources and experience! Thank you!
