Giveaway: Water Kefir, Milk Kefir, & Your Choice of Culture Starters

I don’t believe that everyone can eat the same thing and be healthy. I don’t believe that everyone needs the same ratio of carbs to fat to carbohydrates. I just think that every body has unique needs based on nationality and previous history.

The one thing I think is universal is that everyone can benefit from fermented foods. You can eat yogurt, milk kefir, water kefir, kombucha, sourdough bread, raw cheese, or lacto-fermented vegetables. In every case, the culturing process seems to take whatever nutrients are in that food to begin with to a whole new level of nourishment.

So today I am excited to give away a few culture starters that can help you turn good foods into great nourishment. Cultures for Health is giving one reader a starter for milk kefir, water kefir and your choice of:

  • Yogurt Starter. Choose a mesophilic or thermophilic culture and start making raw milk yogurt.
  • Sourdough Starter.
  • Kombucha Starter
  • Buttermilk Starter.

Thank you for this – I have been following both your blog and cultures for health for a few months now, putting off all things cultured milk since I had to freeze my first, beloved kefir starter during the winter break’s travels from home. It has gone the way of all things, and I’m so grateful for the encouragement to begin again! You are on my bookmarks abr, an so is CFH, and newsletters in my inbox are friendly reminders to keep up the good fight! Again, thanks, Sunny
