Making Kefir, 100% Cornmeal Bread, Cheap Food Isn’t Cheap and more: a Freelance Roundup
The little Miss is taking her afternoon nap so I’m just popping in after a morning in the garden to share some things I’ve been writing about. There’s a recipe, a tutorial, a couple of editorials (cuz you know my soap box is never far off), and a list of whole foods you can save on through Amazon.
You can check them out here:
Thank you for these links! Especially the corn bread recipe! I have been wondering if I could omit the flour, I will definitely be giving it a try!
Thank you for your wonderful posts and links. I do however have a question. Are the bottom 3 links not working or I am wondering if the error I am getting is on my part? It keeps telling me I don’t have permission.
The cornbread recipe sounds really good.
The other links won’t go through for me.
Leona – Yes, it appears as though the saving money sites are down for today for some reason. Hopefully they will be back up soon!
I can’t get the link to the Amazon products to work. Is there a problem with that one?
Me too. It says forbidden.
Linda – Yes, it appears as though the saving money sites are down for today for some reason. Hopefully they will be back up soon!
I can’t get the bottom 3 links to work. They say forbidden as well =(
Tera – Yes, it appears as though the saving money sites are down for today for some reason. Hopefully they will be back up soon!
Me three. The last three links are forbidden for me. But I was able to see the cornbread recipe. Can’t wait for that one, thank you! 🙂

I was fortunate to see the links before they went down. I especially appreciated the information about the Valencia peanuts. I worry about that toxin in peanuts so I’m glad to know there is a type that is free of it. I’m looking forward to the return of the links because I want to review some of the info and to go to amazon from your site.
The photo (and mention of wandering cows) reminds me of a place in mid-Texas where a friend of mine leases land to hunt. I greatly admire your accomplishments so far with homesteading.
I wonder if you have considered raising rabbits. From my childhood, I remember pigs and some goats (not the mellow mom goat, but the kids after they reached a certain age) tended to be difficult to keep in their fences.
