Postcards: Three Weeks
These are blurry days, these first couple of months with a new little one. We’re just getting back into some school and some homesteading stuff three weeks in as a family of eight. And somehow I ended up with only these pictures – and none of baby Hannah – on my camera card.
So Stewart came home with baby chicks when they were needing to be cleared out from Tractor Supply. We now have baby meat birds and some laying hens mixed in the bunch, all of which are outside of our barn in this little coop setup until they get a bit bigger.
And the one photo of the clean dishes on the left and the right of the sink was me blearily documenting all of the help I find in the form of meals and dishes and laundry and so much more from my family and church family these past three weeks.
Oh, and it rained! Our nearly dry pond and increasingly dwindling storage tanks are now much fuller thanks to the Lord’s provision of rain a week or so (who am I kidding, I have no idea what day it is) ago.
And with that, and the sound of rain again on our tin roof as I write, I will leave this rambling post.
Hannah Joy is just beautiful.
Get as much rest as you can it will stand you in good stead.
